I also love podcasts…..I mean REALLY LOVE them. To me, podcasts are an artform. They are gateways to a sense of community for their listeners. They offer entertainment, information, and at times, comfort and support.

I remember struggling with some post-partum challenges and having just lost my dad and finding IMMENSE comfort in a podcast. It wasn’t just ANY podcast, it was one that addressed and allowed me to cope with my very specific type of grief.

And here’s the thing, there are so many podcasts that cater to people’s VERY SPECIFIC interests. To me, that’s what makes podcasts incredibly special and valuable – the ability for a listener to find a podcast dedicated to a specific topic they are interested in and not only be informed and entertained, but also find a sense of COMMUNITY among the like-minded people who also listen!
